The shape of this man face is so tipical of vietnamese that I am really surprised you took it in Bangkok
Well, I only hope this guy didn’t want to dsturb the peaceful sleep of the woman!
Love the photo!! Seems like everything is in a hurry…laundry and one minute phone calls. Makes you ‘wrap it up’ and get to the point. Too bad you can’t combine the two and do laundry in one minute.
Great pic! I use black and white sparingly but this works well with the silhouette.
I’ve never been but I’ve been to Taiwan a lot so I imagine it’s somewhat similar. My wife and I talk about heading to Cambodia but every time we start planning, life gets into the way.
I’m a sucker for a great B&W shot. In my opinion, nothing captures true life in the way a stark B&W image can. I shoot a lot for the paper, and — this sounds weird — but I kind of prefer my photos inside because they’re almost always B&W. Probably a reflection of my thought process — not much grey area. Or is that grey matter…? lol. Anyway, very nice shot.

Thanks! I really like your “Every Day #2″ photos. I remember that night market!

It does seem like it’s hurried there. But not so much – Bangkok is a pretty laid back place. Life is slooooowwww.

I’m sure you’ll get there one day. Cambodia looks amazing.
